  1. Thanks guys, it was usefull. Do you think it is worth to send it to NTHK for appraisal?
  2. Corrected, now ful size images. I can't find anything else here, is it good or bad? There is serial number on tsuba, and the same numbers on seppa. What you think?
  3. Wow! This was really quick! Thak you very much for this, much appreciated.
  4. Hello All May I ask for small help with translation and identification? This is type 98 obviously. Many thanks in advance Piotr
  5. Well, Bruce. The auction houses quite often show low estimation, just to attract buyers to participate. When you start bidding, the heat of the auction is doing the job. I'm not ready to spend 1k$, but I've seen sometimes very low prices. This is just a bit of lottery.
  6. Hello All Thank you for your time. This is link to the auction, lot 109 https://www.interencheres.com/meubles-objets-art/vente-armes-blanches-et-a-feu-304315/lot-30746130.html The pix are zoomable. Whai it should be good price? It is first time I'm bidding anything Japanese.
  7. If Putin have known what honour is I would gift him nice wakizashi, on my cost. But I don't expect too much sense of dignity from the mob trained as KGB agent. Sorry for political offtopic
  8. Hello All I see this blade on auction, which seems to be type 95 with aluminium tsuka. But it doesn't have a latch and tsuba doesn't have ahole for latch even. Can you tak a look and say what you think? I am a bit new to this topic. Thanks in advance Edit: Sorry guys, my bad, shame on me. Now the pictures are visible, would you like to take a look?
