    My grandfather who raised me was a marine on Guam 3rd marines, 3rd reg, 3rd bat. He picked up 2 katanas and a tanto. He was injured on Guam and his buddies buried his swords in his bag. Someone on the navy medical ship stole 2 but did not reach the best katana in the bottom of the bag.

     

    Heres some pics. Picked this up after a firefight on Guam. Its in rough shape.
