  1. I know, but I haven`t had no precise term for it This type of "cannon" from Eric looks like a thing called "Böller" or "saluting gun" in Europe...... Uwe
  2. Hi Piers, thanks for the help. The whole signature reads "Jinshin 1197 ban Wakamatsu ken" and seems genuine. It is faint and coverd with the same firm rust as the barrel. Probably, this teppo can be associated with the arsenal at "Wakamatsu castle" (Crane castle) Uwe
  3. Hi Piers, you mentioned "Jinshin". What does it mean? I`ve a teppo signet that way. Uwe
  4. Almost sure it`s a fake Bears Chinese characteristics IMHO. Uwe

  9. Hi John, yep, it`s a detachable Hana-no-ita (nose plate), there the gusari is mounted. I wonder how the Kuchi (mouth) guard (gusari) is fastened on the men. If this is not the case, it would be useless for protection :? Uwe PS: Mustache is missing.
  10. Hi Eric, it`s a very rare example of an Myochin school menpo. The catalog mentioned it as "the only one of its kind on record" this time. Uwe
