  5. What school was Mishina Tajima No kami Munetsugu from? I found one of his swords on a website that has ayasugi hada dates 1759. Erich

  9. So you are saying the black patina is original to the tsuba and did not appear over time.

    Old tsuba?

    Just wondering what you'r thoughts are on this tsuba. it's a soft medal copper maybe? It came off a ww2 Japanese army officers sword...Erich

  18. Can anyone tell me what these two figures on the kozuka represent. Maybe they are part of some Japanese folkloar? Not signed on the back. Erich
