Here is a sword by the same maker,dated 1945,the '44 pattern mounts are a little more simplified.The habaki is made of aluminum in the traditional manner.I spoke with the owner of the sword in this post a little while ago(didnt realize he was having dinner in a restaurant untill the waiter came and took his order during the conversation)its description is similar,maybe a little beefier.Havent seen anything else on this maker unless someone out there has anymore info on him.
