  1. It look like it’s one of the pieces used for retention of the scabbard to the handle.
  2. Hi, idk if this may help but one of the other pronounciations of Ichi is Kazu, I think. so in this case if you are correct on your assessment of the first kanji it may be rendered as Kikazu regards
  3. I’m interested if you want to part with it. thanks
  4. Ok that makes sense for this one above but the tweezer version…?? Maybe same way?
  5. So we assume the cord cylinder is what is being used as the Mekugi? Thank you
  6. Good day to you all, how do these koshirae fittings fit together and disassemble? Any input would be appreciated for my understanding. Thank you
  7. That one is in pretty bad shape, and the koshirae isn’t great either. Wait and find better
  8. Thank you for that correction
  9. Unshu Yamagata Ju Fujiwara is the mei
  10. You are correct.
  11. Comes with this oshigata 😁
  12. Good morning. I am listing this blade as well. Mumei, large leaning gunome hamon. Iron fittings, 20.25” Nagasa. Saya painted obviously but has a nice shakudo fitting down near the end. Ask any and all questions. Open to offers as well. Listing for $1000, shipping included. PayPal or other pay options available. Regards
  13. Here is my only tsuba fitting what you’re looking for, convex. Regards
  14. Looks like top two on right are Bu Shu, maybe 🤔
  15. If you say it’s signed then let us see that. That will prove it’s legit or not. thanks for posting
  16. Thank you! Here is regular pics same as the original post.
  17. Nagashi polishers marks
  18. And a few more on other side. thanks for looking!
  19. Was working the oshigata and the Edison bulbs were on fire for this hamon!
  20. This looks to be water quenched but signed like a jackass 🤣 thoughts
  21. More pics
  22. This sword was purchased as an unseen Kai Gunto, high quality koshirae (the Tsuka is out for re-wrap) so will post pics later. The interesting part isn’t just the actual blade and hamon with tobiyaki, but the Chippy Mei that the Gunto swords seem to have. Signed Kanetada, who is listed in Sesko it seems. I like to joke and say it was his disabled brother who signed it for him 🤣 It also appears to be ubuha, although a Bubba tried to sharpen it sometime in the past.
  23. This almost looks like it’s supposed to read “Fujiwara Ju Yasumitsu” but that seems unusual. Sorry I can’t read it better
