  17. Brian I forgot to ask about the Shoshin whats the charge where do I send it to I read your comments on another who was asking about it I believe if they don’t know what the mei is there’s no charge Now if the mei is genuine dose that mean the sword was made by that smith ? If it’s a gimme would they know who signed it Im guessing this sword is documented in Japan and that’s how they know if it’s Gimei or shoshin?
  18. Brian your right it’s a nice sword no doubt I put too much faith for the seller stating it’s signed by that smith in the description not thinking it was just the signature I spent a good chunk of money for this sword It’s good to here some positives so thanks for that And for others who gave me feed back I think I’m done buying swords for a while steve
  19. Yes I could have researched but considering who the sellers were I did not think I should worry about the signature I have bought from theses sellers before and never had a problem I believe the answer is I got duped 1
  20. Just a quick note I bought this sword from 2 reputable dealers on the forum I respect and believe wouldn’t sell me a sword knowing the signature wasn’t authentic or dosnt match the description Not having as much knowledge as others on the forum puts me at the mercy of more experienced people But that’s what the forum is about getting help from others
  21. I think the question is why the signature dosnt appear to be a good match to Sho-shin?
  22. Your right he doesn’t
  23. Not sure what you mean by strange? that’s the style of this smith
