Good to know I think I will look elsewhere to buy Just have to be careful I picked up a nice Navy here recently a couple of nice sword from Eric My problem is I don’t go to shows that leaves me with a limited place That said I have some really nice swords Got screwed on 2 which was my own fault Sold one returned the other I took a loss but learned a lesson the hard way Many thanks for help from members of the fourm

True there is a paper not sure if it makes a difference ? The Showa 98 is about 1000 probably a little higher but still cheap price with all the furniture however I don’t need another non traditional sword

Hi I generally don’t look for swords from Japan but this one caught my eye I think for Edo period Samaria sword under 3000 with a elaborate hamon by a known smith and in this condition is a good price! Just my opinion for what it’s worth It seems like some of these swords from Japan are really nice and bargains I saw another showa by 大刀 Daito/ Antique Japanese Sword/Noshu ju小島勝正 Kojima katsumasa saku military mounted at 1000 with one bid! I’m sure it will go a little higher but still. This one’s in the book of John slough also it great condition Here’s pics of Kanemichi

Noshu Seki WW2 Japanese sword ju Ichimonji Minamoto Amahide kore wo kitaeru” I want to get other opinions of this sword according to the sellers info There is no visible hamon ? I researched other Amahide swords and found that wasn’t the case See the information I posted The description and another so called experts view

Lots of information to chew on I think for me is best to read more books As I have bought 5 Im not going to jump on another sword unless I know what I’m buying and price is right But thanks for everyone s comments I didn’t know it wasn’t considered a nlf so thanks for the clarification

I wasn’t trying to skirt question or mean to solicit information for naive collectors as you pointed out I like this sword and not planning to sell it I was curious what the cost of papers and how you go about getting papers since I never had one before I will find have found out my self had I known others felt this way
