  1. There was also donation to the victims of the Kobe earthquake included. I don’t remember what we paid. We also staid in this Plaza Hotel for 1 night. anyway...it is interesting to hold swords, juyo and higher, in your hands.
  2. In 2001 I went with friends to the Taikai (sword exposition) in Kobe. This Taikai was only for members of the NBTHK.
  3. Dai Token last year. Good opportunity to see and study Japanese swords
  4. I think... Koyama Munetsugu
  5. Darcey, I think that yamato shizu is the best option. (at least dozen) And yes, there is to less gunome for Naotsuna.
  6. Buying?? I thougth this is a kantei?
  7. Does anyone seen this kind of fuchi? It is made from a nakago with the typical mei of shodai Nobukuni. The mei is not good. but is seems to be made of a real nakago. Johnny
  8. Yes,, the black hada, nambokucho sugata, pointed hakikake boshi, sunagashi (masame near the ha) and the soshu influence gives my the feeling of a "less" quality soshu blade. But, it is just a guess from a picture. Johnny
  9. For my feeling this sword dates from the nambokucho period. (longer kissaki, typical hi) My guess is (sekishu) Naotsuna School.
  10. Hi, I registered today as a member. Nice forum, very well done. Aboet the kantei of Tsuruta: I think this sword is not made by kunikane. So, possible Ko-hosho or sue-hosho or atleast late nambokucho. Anyway,, kantei is always difficult. More important is that the den is very clear and it looks like a good quality blade. John
