    Hello everyone I think Historian 2 said it all . But i do think a person who has made it their lifes effort to no about this stuff and actually make this stuff for a living may know a little bit more than most out their and his opinion should be valued . These forums tend to get a bit personal but that wasn't the intent im sure . OH happy birthday Ford .fill that sake cup and have a good one. Chris

  5. Hi Everyone Would like some help on what this blade has to say if possible . there is no fittings just the blade , the scabbard is steel covered with leather sewn around it . Appreciate any help than you.Chris. .

  7. Hello Brian The blade does have a temper line but I guess that means nothing .Did they still clay harden these war time blades to produce the harmon, Thank you Chris.
