Hi all, new member here. Im am doing some research on the Japanese surrender at Morotai as i believe through family connections to General Blamey that i may possibly be in possession of the Sword surrended by Lt Gen Teshima, Commander 2nd Japanese Army on September 9th, 1945. I am by no means knowledgeable of Japanese swords and would like some assistance in how to recognise the sword and its value. Any assistance would be grateful.
