Has anybody had any issues shipping nihonto to Sweden? Any suggestions for safe economically sound shipping from the US to Sweden?

I recently bought a sword from this seller and I highly recommend them. I recommend getting something with origami. I've only been seriously reading and studying nihonto for the past 4 months but, I've noticed (even in that short amount of time) my taste has changed alot. A sword I was drooling over 2 months ago (which was about $3,000 over my budget (18,218.10 Swedish Krona)) I now cringe at. -Josh

If a sword has been papered by the NBTHK (Hozon) is it safe to assume it's not kazu uchi mono? Josh M.

I'm new to the world of Nihonto but, I'd suggest saving up some money and buying from a reputable dealer (if you are going to buy a nihonto based on online pictures). I recently won a piece off of ebay from kofudo_jp. I could have done worse but, the pictures that were posted in the auction didn't reveal the scratches and ware that can plainly be seen in person. I'm not blaming kofudo_jp. I should have been more cautious. I would save up and make sure you get something that doesn't come to you needing a polish. Josh M.
