  1. Hey all, Even if I don't talk too much, I think this is a good idea for people with not so much money! And more than that, can permit to people to sell blade at the price they want. But in my opinion, need to make a maximum of 20-25 bidders... So, that's close to an average of 100-200$ biddings. The other solution that can be done but... More complicated... Imagine a sword at 2000$, 1000$ played in raffle (like ten bidders), the winner paid the 1000$ that rest. More chance to win, and an half price piece for the winner!

  5. Everybody, thanks a lot for your responses. i will check "The Art of the Japanese Sword” (thanks for the reference Jean Pierre). Steve, i'm a "new" blacksmith (at the beginning of my carrier) but i got some bases concerning structure. I'm sure i need to understand more closely (perlite formation (globular,...) etc...etc.. etc...). I knwo experience is the best in order to learn but, sometimes, books and informations are needed hard ! Youtube is full of ressources that's sure. If somebody got another informations (especially books), i'm in guys (and girl, no offense) ! Thanks again. Julien G
  6. Hello everybody, i'm trying to find some informations concerning, clay coating, and more accurately, which clay pattern can be associated to hamon pattern. I searched a little bit in the forum, without success, and i also dug on the net, but that was not really probant. If somebody get information about a web site, books, or get anything, i'm really interested. I thanks you all in advance, and wishe you all, a good nigth, or a good day !
