Jabramaki using a 0.85 mm thick thread. Black lacquer with the addition of golden scraps. Fittings made of amber horn buffalo.
  4. My new project. I received a blade and habaki, tsuba, fuch kashira. I had to choose menuki and make koshirae. Unfortunately, habaki is very thick. Due to the fact that it is wrapped in silver foil, I could not change the geometry - reduce it. This affected the shape of the koiguchi, which should correspond to the size of the fuchi. I will be pleased if you pay attention to what I could improve on my next project. Thanks to Takashi Iiyama San, for supporting me with tsukamaki work. Thank You

  6. Hello, thank You for interesting. Color samegawa takes 1 day (effective work about 2 h) it must dry after first layer of mixture and then second is putted. Tsukamaki takes about 25-30 h.

  14. Hello, I would like to present my last project. It was just tsukamaki - tsumami maki. I got a task to do it exactly like it was before. Old tsukaito was damaged on tome. I removed the old braid entirely to have a pattern. I would like to thank Mr Takashi Iiyama San for all help and correcting my work. Thank You for watching.
  15. Hello, I would like to present my latest project from September. I am particularly pleased with the work on samegawa. I colored it using natural ingredients (dried fruit) from Japan. I also had difficulty finding the right tsukaito color, the closest to the original, but I succeeded. In total, I checked 4 shades of brown. Thank You for watching
