Sandro, a dear friend of mine who speaks Japanese very well (Makiko says :D ) has already translated the article in Italian

I love handachi style as well. I have noticed that many of them are "higo-esque" in style; but perhaps is just a case.. what about you?

Firstly I would like to say that I am not in any way related to the publisher or others, so I just put the link moved by curiosity; most of all because I had exactly the same thoughts as Guido... and my thoughts hasn't still changed. What I can say is that I have read what the writers says about it. It was planned as a book written by the Italian author developing the gokaden part of the old "The craft of the Japanese sword" but it the project was turned down, and became instead of a descriptive book a fully illustrated book, with pictures taken in Yoshindo's Tokyo workplace. So the book shows Yoshindo working on a sword page by page; 250 in total. I have no more infos by now, but I will add if I get.

It may sound stupid, but seriously remembers me this:

Every time I hear of this restorations, I fear in a few years we will never seen the original colours any more.. Perhaps the pictures or my monitor is fooling me, but I fear all will turn out to be pale black. Who Mark is BTW?
