Hello, I have a Wakizashi coming up for auction, quite plain ( no Menuki ) 43cm blade inculding the copper Habaki there is also a minor inscription on the very plain iron Tsuba could anyone offer advice on age and a translation of the mark? Thanks Leo

Thank you everyone for your time and information, I have donated to the board fund ( as Xiayang graciously declined! ) Out of curiosity would anyone know the purpose of the markings on the tip of the handle covered by the Fuchi collar ( 1st pic )?

Hello, I have a type 97 Kai-Gunto recieved by an English Captain at the surrender of Singapore ( full provenance ) - could someone help us with the markings on the tang?

Hello! Could some please help me determine the origins of this sword? The Scabbard is metal with a wooden lining and the blade length is 70 cm. Someone has tried to home sharpen it causing quite a bit of damage. I can't find ny other examples online especially the acid? etched serial number? Thanks for any advice Leo
