But there are no flaws or chips to the blade. I'm having trouble uploading imagines due to size restrictions but pm me if anyone interested an I can send more. I am asking $2500Aud obo which includes express post and insurance within Australia

Hi guys, I have an opportunity to get this sword as part of a trade. I have not examined it in hand but judging by the photos it appears to be in nice condition. I am far from an expert when it comes to nihonto. All I know is that it is in wartime mounts, but appears to be a true nihonto. I guess I'm just looking for further information and if you guys think it looks like a decent blade. Thanks any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys thanks for the information. So he was a wartime Smith? The two ana made me think it may have been an older blade?

Thanks everyone for the help with the translation of my wakizashi. But I'm having trouble finding information regarding the smith (Noshu junin Nobutaka) in particular the age of the piece. Any further information would be appreciated. Thanks Brodie
