My personal opinion is that I don't let handle a traditional Japanese sword to anyone that isn't traditionally trained. If you really need it I recommend you send it to Japan. Best

I'm agree with Marcos, I have seen this Tsuba before, as well as other parts intentionally modified to look like what they are not. These practices were denounced in this forum, maybe not this piece in question, but they are the same people that try to sell "museum quality" pieces, adding "rarity" in their descriptions and they are forgeries or very low quality Japanese parts. It is an issue that directly affects the small community that we have in Spain, since it stains the reputation of what we love and respect in addition to giving a bad image to the international community.

Fortunately, Markus has responded and agreed to do the translation. He has confirmed that he effectively stops doing translations, so the post can be closed. Thank you all -

Hi Adam, thanks for your reply. That was what I read on facebook. Of course, in the email I sent to Mr. Sesko, it was assumed that it was a paid job, as stipulated in the rates on their website. Thank you -
Hello everyone, I am looking for someone who can help me with the translation of two origami. I just learned that Sesko is no longer doing this job, so I'd like to find someone who can. Thank you

Hello everyone I'm just going to say that this book is one of the best books I've ever had. I received it today, it is a very beautiful work, design and quality are supreme. I can study the swords almost as if they were in my hand. A real work of art. Also, Dmitry's very friendly person! Recommended 200%

Sorry for my bad translation. All the set is late Edo, my fault.

Hello again Ford, first of all thank you very much for responding, the truth is that I would not have realized all the things you comment and now I understand what you say. As you say, it is a set to assemble and I guess once assembled those details will go a little unnoticed. The truth is that I am quite happy with the set, but the opinion from an expert is always welcome. Thanks for your time!

Hi Ford, Thank you for your opinion, I'm glad that someone like you give his opinion. I know that is not high quality, the set is for mounting, but, this set was bought to a very reputable seller from UK, except the kozuza & Kogai set, that was bought to a Japanese dealer,so , I'd like to know which things make you think that this not Japanese. Thank you for response!

Hi everyone! I want to share with you a set of tosogu I recently made (First I found Tsuba /FK and menuki, later Kozuka&Kogai). This set is for a new koshirae project. I'd like you to share your opinions as well as which artisan would do you like to send it to make the koshirae. Thanks!

Opinion Of This Blade

Hi Geraint, Thanks for your reply. It seems that the sword is fine, but I think the Koshirae is a bit above, I can be wrong because it's the feeling that I have and I'm a beginner. That's not a renowned kaji doesn't worry me if the quality of the blade is good, so I wanted to ask here, that there are people with great knowledge. Even though the koshirae I love, I want to give priority to the blade and get something of good quality in that budget. Do you think that this piece can opt for Tokubetsu Hozon? Thank you very much for your time Emilio -
Hello everyone, I would like to ask what do you think of this piece of Aoi. I've been looking information about Noda Goro Fujiwara Kanesada in the Seskos books and there is very little information. What makes me doubt is, in the description Aoi says that Kanesada and Iga no Kami Kinmichi are apparently the same person. I thought it was a beautiful koshirae and I wanted to know your opinion about the blade, do you think it is a quality piece? thank you The link: https://www.aoijapan.com/katana-noda-goro-fujiwra-kanesadaiga-kami-kinmichi/ Emilio
