  1. Hi All, Was contacted by a person who said they were selling a sword. The name on the email was (samit popey). The email address what anonymized so I dont know it. Here is the picture they first contacted me with. When I requested more photos they sent me a completely different sword which was a Chinese fake and the photo was small. They then told me they were in Lowell Massachusetts which I doubt. Anyway be careful!
  2. Hi, Sorry Its not even a good fake. Look at the bohi at the kissaki and the arsenal marks are terrible! I do not think they will be able to make a perfect fake as there are too many small details right down to the materials used.
  3. Large price drop! $2800 plus shipping and paypal if applicable. Thanks for looking!
  4. Bump to the top! Thanks for looking!
  5. Here is the guy I think it is.
  6. Thanks Brian! Anyone interested fell free to make me an offer!
  7. Hi All, Up for sale is this shinto period wakizashi by Gassan. It has really nice ayasugi hada which was very difficult to photograph. I think this is the Gassan that worked in about 1624 and was from Owari and also worked under name Nobutaka. It has a nice 2 kanji signature Gassan. The cutting edge of the blade is 21 inches long. It has a wonderful fuchi and one really nice menuki. This is exactly as I got it and just have too many projects in the pipeline so I am selling it so someone else can polish it. I can arrange a nice polish for about $800 for the new owner. I can also arrange for the restoration of the fittings. As I said the ayasugi hada was difficult to photograph but you can see it very clear in hand! $3700 plus shipping and paypal if aplicable. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please dont hesitate to msg me though this site or email me at brannow_NO_SPAM@artswords.com Please remove the _NO_SPAM from the email address. 15. Hi All, So I was pulling stuff out of my safe and I found several interesting swords that I had completely forgotten about. One is a tanto by Muramasa that is in pretty abused shape. I bought it years ago thinking I would have it restored and save it but I just have way to many swords in for restoration and too many others in the que. I am sure some one would be interested in it so my question is what is it worth in this condition as is. looks like the hamon is there.
  16. Here is a photo of the full sword.
  17. Ill take sine tomorrow.

  21. Hi all, I'm having a hard time working out this signature. What I get is something about a Mt. Kamasu? Ju Shigemitsu Saku. Thanks in advance,
  22. Now this is cool! Thanks for sharing Dave!
  23. These are quite rare and there are many collectors that want them so I dont think the price will come down.
  24. You can buy a sword from anywhere in the world and there would be very little duty.
