  1. Lewis, Oli, it was a fantastic weekend. I hope you guys had a good time. Meeting wonderful people like you guys is more than half of the fun.
  2. Dear fellow sword enthusiasts, We would like to let you know that the Dutch Token Society will be present at the Japan Art Fair in Utrecht this weekend. If you are visiting the fair, please feel free to stop by our stand, have a chat, and share our passion for Japanese swords. We look forward to meeting you there! Kind regards, On behalf of the Dutch Token Society, Leen van Ochten Chairman
  3. Good to see you here again! A warm welcome back!
  4. Thanks a lot!
  5. Could someone please help me translating this total inscription on the opposite side of a Hisakatsu tanto? Thanks in advance.
  6. Nice naval tanto, in really good condition with samegawa sheath for € 800,-
  7. Thanks looks like it is the same blade
  8. Can someone help me with a translation of this mei and possible information on the smith. It’s a Nagamaki with a 75cm nagasa. thanks in advance
  9. It has been a while I thought I'd share this remarkable tanto with you guys,
  10. Zoheito, non traditional, mass produced blade (like the type 95) in good quality type 98 (suya shoten) mountings. Also mentioned on ohmura study net
  11. As secretary of the dutch token society i have acces to these books. So i can deliver. If anyone else is interested. Drop me a pb. Perhaps even with an interesting discount if you buy more than one.
  12. I found myself a blade by Akiyoshi which didn’t surface on this forum before (I believe). It has quite an active Hamon, lots of activity, clusters of nie, lots to study though taking good pictures is a challenge. The numbering might be interesting for @Bruce Pennington.
  13. It was a very nice weekend indeed and as Oli said, it was very nice to meet some people live. Our neighbors from Germany, people from Austria, Australia, Great Britain, Japan, the states. You guys know who you are We had some good conversations and fun.
