  1. Hello, I am being offered a sword that looks gunto to me - nakago file marks, bo-hi, polish, etc. seem gunto. Of course I am no kantei, so any additional feedback will be appreciated. Mei is on one side only, nothing on the other. There does not seem to be an armory stamp or serial numbers, but then again none of the photos show the full nakago... Can you please translate this mei for me? And, if you know any information about it that would be very much appreciated. Thank you! If photo doesn't display, please click its link directly, for some reason it does not seem to show: http://shinnihonto.mx/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/bohi01.jpg
  2. LOL sorry for that, too many antiques in a small brain
  3. Thank you, Joe It does not seem to have an armory stamp, and from the blade pics (will try to upload more somewhere) it's a pretty decent work.
  4. Hello, I will appreciate your help in the transliteration of this mei, and of course any other feedback would be very welcome. This is a sword for sale, owner sent the pics as they are (I know they are not ideal, but they are what I got) sorry I cannot provide a straight closeup. The steel and hamon appear to be a handmade blade, not showato, so I'm interested in knowing more about the tosho if possible and assess whether it's worth buying. Thank you in advance for any feedback and opinions!
