    Mr. Piers, you were so helpful last year when I was trying to find a home for my matchlock, I thought I would return to the well once more.

     

    My son-in-law showed me a sword that was given to his grandfather, allegedly by a WWII pow.  Here are some pictures of it.  Does it come apart so that we could attempt to ascertain its origin?

     

    Thank you for any help and thanks again for all the help you gave me last year.
