Hi all- Rescued this from an estate auction by me. It came with a WWII Japanese bayonet and a beat up M1902 US Army Officer Sword. I can make out what I think are kanji on the tang’s spine. The rest of the tang has significant rust issues. Looking for advice on how to move forward to improve its condition or figure out what era it is from. Thanks for any help. Best Chris from Wisco
