  5. Thank you very much Thomas for this information! Tom

  11. It actually looks like one of the Chinese reproduction swords to me. I would walk away! Tom
  12. Thank you both for your help. The pictured dirk by Ohmura looks to me to have the same backstrap/pommel as the forestry dirk. The dirk that Jareth posted is definitely different. The post by Nick is excellent! Thanks again, Tom
  13. Hi Bruce, Yes, the forestry dirks you pictured look just like the Cadet dirk that Ohmura has pictured. Is it possible that Ohmura is mistaken or are they extremely similar? Inquiring minds would like to know! Thank you all very much, Tom
  14. Hi All, I was looking at Ohmura’s website and he has this listed as a naval cadet’s dirk. I always thought this was a forestry dirk. Can someone please help explain what is correct? Thank you very much for any clarification. Tom
  15. Here are the pictures as requested Neil. Tom
  16. Here’s one with the mon integral with the backstrap. Tom
  17. I'm wondering reproduction? Tom
  18. Thanks Stegel, Yes, it does look like the same sword you pictured, and I noticed the famous grey blanket. Tom
  19. Thanks Chris, the blade is not in the greatest condition. No pitting but someone "cleaned" it with an abrasive. Also the front seppa is missing, but I'm still very happy to have it! Tom
  20. Bruce, here is another one that I just picked up. It needs the front seppa that is missing. Tom
  21. Hi All, I’m hoping for some information on this type 95. It appears to have a hand forged blade. Notice how there are no serial numbers, habaki or inspection stamps. Has anyone ever seen one like this? Any information will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Tom
  22. Senior Red Cross dirk, nice fittings. Too bad about the blade. Tom
  23. Damm Mike, I just saw this and you beat me to it. Beautiful piece, good luck with it. You'll have to bring it to Allentown so I can see it in person. Tom
  24. Hi Stephen, could you please send me a link to your sale of this tanto? I have been unable to locate it on this forum. Thanks, Tom
  25. Thanks again Ray. Tom
