I was reading some old books and noticed a nice tsuba with a VOC- ship. It has also a square hole in the middle of the nakago hitsu ana. Not much information about the tsuba and the book is printed in Japanese with only a few English sentences.
Hi John, thank you very much for help.
I was thinking tomokata but tomotaka or tomoyohi can also be possible. Hard to read. Thanks again for your help. It's highly appreciated.

Hi Bruno,
I was not expecting a masterpiece at all. I try to read the mei to improve my skills. I bought the kozuka because I liked the design and the price was right. Not because it was signed. For me personally buying high end items is risky and out of reach. Thanks for all the information provided.
Thank you Bruno for the additional information. The way it's signed suggests the 3rd master but I doubt if this piece is a true masterpiece.
Still a nice kozuka.
Yesterday, I have found a nice kozuka. It's signed and I think the signature is Nara Toshinaga but I'm not 100 percent sure. All help will be highly appreciated.
Reportedly, the new sword is also unbreakable.
That's interesting. I have never seen a broken stainless steel blade but I assume you guys have seen some.
Yesterday I have found some nice things (a few kozuka and a few kashira). About this one I'm excited and I want to share it with you. The carving is nicely done. On the back is a makers seal. Unfortunately unidentified for now. Please feel free to comment.

Chameleon dark has still the same font size but the dimensions dark has now a larger font size. Much better for me! I'll use dimensions dark theme now. Thanks.
