Hello Everyone, Of all areas, kozuka seems to be the most difficult, at least for me. They range from a couple hundred dollars to over $1000. I should rephrase "cultural value". All kozuka have a history and importance. Is the cost justified using a skilled craftsman in this case? Hard to say, without a knowledgeable understanding of this particular kozuka.

Thank you for your replies. Is this a somewhat common problem for a kozuka? If I was able to determine it's cultural value, that would go along way whether to use a skilled craftsman.
