  4. I don't have the phots of the crossguard.
  5. One of Type 32(91430) that I use to own, only has 大 一, no Month.
  6. Yes, there are many factory-reworked Type 32, that's why we saw minty ones from time to time,a lot more than Type 95.
  7. Never say never about the Japanese sword, here is your first Showa 昭貳(1926)dated 32 甲(83X33)。
  8. Really wish they have the photo of the tang or written Kanji of the smith's name instead of English only. Kanenaga could be 兼永 or 包永。
  9. I took these photos when I visited Westpoint.
  10. It was made in Tokyo first arsenal, around 1943. The fitting could be made by the Ijima sword shop.
  11. You are right Thoms, talking about the Family name, the Chinese use 古 as well.
  12. 别上 to my eyes
  13. @Bruce Pennington That hot stamp is using 篆體字 永(upper right) 林(lower right) 作(upper left) 坊(lower left) 永林作坊 Yong Lin's workshop in Guang Dong China
  14. 古成勇 All these are made by 永林作坊
  15. Gunzoku 軍屬 caps
  16. It looks like a fantasy piece to me, waiting for more opinions.
  17. I think the hat that guy wearing is not an official army cap. Just the Army-style 軍屬/civilian cap. Note the hats the two girls on the left are wearing, the photo was taken in 1943 at 福岡。
  18. Not only copper handle overhyped but the Type 95 is also overhyped. Even though I have a quite few in my collection, still think copper should be 2-3K. Regular brass guard 7-1000, same condition Iron guard 200 less. But that's just me.
  19. That hot stamp could be 篆體字 永(upper right) 林(lower right) 作(upper left) 坊(lower left) 永林作坊 Yong Lin's workshop
  20. I would say it's a modern Chinese repro
  21. John Can you share the photos of the rest of your Mantetsu?
  22. 鈴,one of the inspection mark for Type 30 bayonet, this one could be the inspection team’s (鈴木) name. There are other kanjis as well,菅,石,原,松,齋etc. @Bruce Penningtonthe 和 mark on the type 30 bayonet has no connection with the ones on the 偽軍刀. There are also the W mark and big M an mark on the pommel of the early type30, and it doesn't look like the M/W mark on the Guntos.
