I have an authentic Japanese blade and tsuba bought from Billy Tagg in Liverpool in the mid 80's when I was a serious student of Aikido and Iaido. I have a tang rubbing for the blade giving the swordsmith's name.
1) I have been trying to find a current contact number for Billy in order to seek an evaluation from him as I may wish to sell these items.
If anyone can provide this information, I'd be grateful.
2) I'd appreciate any information from people in the know about how I go about getting a proper evaluation for the blade and tsuba, including the names and contact details of reputable dealers in these items as Billy Tagg (and B Skelly) may have stopped trading.
