Some good examples of suriage nakago in the book of Nobuo Nakahara translated by Paul Martin.

  10. Many yari and jumonji with this mei yamashiro no kami kunishige. I have seen severals , yari and jumonji, no kanji saku at the end of the mei. 2 are listed on the hawley's with no kami for musashi.

  15. I don't see very well the yasuri mei on yours pictures. Are they taka no ha ? I'm very surprised by the kiku ??? It is the first time where i see a kiku on his blade.

  17. Yes Brian it is a better quality mount, a friend as me has got one with a mumei shinto ishido waki blade (However it was not a gift by the showa tenno for him :lol: ) Wait and see for the mei... 5000 euros must be the price for the légend....

  24. I remember this blade signed miyaguchi yasuhiro (yasukuni shrine) not kunimori. It was a special order sword. It was an auction at a Japanese shop.
  25. Few years ago i remember a yasuhiro dated showa 19 with a type 3 mounts, ishime black saya and silver plated tsuba. This blade was sold by a Japanese shop. It is the only i saw.
