As many of you know, I have struggled to get this set completed. Through much effort I was able to retrieve my fittings and all prior work and they have finally been completed !! thought I would share the work done by Pablo Kuntz’s team

It's 1230 a.m. here in HK, but more or less. He is a ghost but still lives in Japan. Used a detective and some Southern charm, plus a lot of help and patience from a friend who helped get them shipped. Everything is was paid in full but from the pics i have seen of mine and of others zero work was done since 2019/2020. Not sure what triggered it, and y'all did warn me. At least i have it back now , and Pablo will help to complete. Just need to get someone to do a Jabaramaki for the wakazashi to match the katana tsuka

I may have found him, waiting for the response. There was a "Joseph Macias" listed as one of Han's friends on FB who lives in California. Let's see if I can bring joy to his day

Spoke to Hans recently and appears that most all books that he has are sent, he is waiting on another print run to fulfill the rest. Any received them yet? I can imagine with the challenges in shipping these days because of the virus that there are even more hiccups.

If you check out https://hanziyuan.net/ It has the etymology for most all Chinese characters, from Oracle Bones on up. Possible source if needed. And the guy that does it Richard Sears is a pretty good guy to. You could probably send him an email if needed.

Do you think these were real saya or were samples that the sayashi had to show his clients? sort of like "paint samples"

I use the App --- Aftership. also i can recommend putting same tracking number in for both the senders delivery system and the local receivers delivery system. If i receive something from Japan Post, and then local Hong Kong Post but same tracking number. The JP will update after HK Post once it lands in HK, Customs, distribution, and delivery
