Was a typo. Nothing clever just fat fingers. Knowing that it is tops still does not make me happy. That is what I get for not doing my research before purchasing and if I don't get the time for it, don't buy it.

I have a gut check about to happen. I paid $650 for this thing. I hope I didn't pay to much. IT was one of those, take it right now or never have a chance again type of deals.

I looked up Tsunekiyo in a few databases after you mentioned this. It also matches the Kangi you posted. How significant are Tsunekiyo swords?

Hi all, Like many, my first post is a help post. I collect WWII items and this is my first Japanese WWII sword of which many I hope to acquire. Would someone mind helping me ID this sword? I have looked through the Kangi database and cannot find a match for the marking on this blade handle. Pardon me if I don't reference the traditional name of the sword components. I am just beginning to learn. Total blade length is 33 and 1/2 inches Blade length from front of Habaki 24 1/2 inches Thank you in advance! I can get more pics if needed.
