Bruce, here is one from collection. The translation is: Futatsu do Kiri' which translated means ‘2 Bodies Cut’. It further reads 'Jinken Jueimon Shigetsugu' with a kao (his seal). This translates to "Shigetsugu, sword tester". Hitomi Dembê Shigetsugu 人見伝兵衛重次 (寛文 Kanbun is the actual translation. (I think I have the correct picture here)

ebay Ebay - Are There Any Consistently Reliable Sellers?
jesse replied to MWB's topic in Auctions and Online Sales or Sellers
I agree with Brian. Look at the 'For Sale' section, as I just bought a couple of Tsuba's (from Ray Singer and Thierry Bernard) a very nice Koto Katana from Nick. It was a tough choice because Ray had a great Wakizashi for sale and Jamie had a nice Tanto. Nothing is 100% safe in this world but the NMB is about the closest you will get to it. -
I saw this a few days ago and could not believe the excuse of fitting it to a tsuka. That statement should go down as one of the great idiotic statements ever. Dang

PM sent for numbers 3 and 21.

Round #2 On Ebay - 43 Auctions!
jesse replied to Jorgensen's topic in Auctions and Online Sales or Sellers
I don't collect tsuba's but I will be watching a couple of them. Very nice. -
They are very good about discounts. I bought a Yari from them and got 25000 yen off and I just got a Kiyomitsu Tonto with a 35000 yen discount. I wait until they have been on for awhile and then make an offer. So far they have not said no. So...if my end of year bonus/commission is good, that naginata will be mine. enjoy yours, I think the naginata is the most interesting blade out there. Jesse

I certainly will.

about 30 years ago. It came as a bare blade and I will make the koshire myself. There is virtually zero scratches on the blade. Making the furniture, that is the part of the hobby I love. This will be my 4th blade making and putting the decorations together. jesse

So you were the one that bought it. I was looking for it and was going to buy it but, you got it so I just bought the Kiyomitsu Tanto from them. Now I am saving for the Tadahiro naginata. The naginata's that they have are just beautiful. Congrats on a great blade. Jesse

Brian, it's all in jest. I spent 10 years as a Navy Frogman. Nothing but absolute respect for anyone who serves... Jesse

]Stephen, last thing I need is a smart ass Marine.....it's like having to listen to some air puke telling me how great he is with Powerpoint...of course he is, he's in the Air Force... Here are some pics of the blade. I only collect swords from Shinto era and older but this was a deal that was too good to pass up. Jesse
