  1. Matched it up with my NCO with the same stamps, copper fuchi, and only 6000 off in the serial number. Spot on match correct. Charlie

  4. Stephen, I hope you recover your swords quickly. Please fill us in if they are recovered. Charlie
  5. funny how he mentions the low serial number, but it not even low enough number to be a copper handle.
  6. I'd stay away from this one for sure. Its a shame you can't import blades into Peru b/c of the red tape.
  7. Think they got a app for that too like imiwa? Charlie
  8. I keep going back and forth from the book the picture. Can't make it out... Charlie
  9. Thanks Jean and John for the info. Glad you too are in agreement. It took two tries to get the rubbing that clear. The first didn't turn out very good. Charlie
  10. My worst purchase is a Type 90 IJA helmet I brought off of ebay years ago. The shell of the lid was real, but the liner was fake. As soon as you turn the liner inside out you see the nylon holding the pads in. Tried to send it back and get my money back but no dice... I keep on my shelve as a reminder. Wasn't a big loss, but a great learning tool. Charlie
  11. Hello, I'm a new member to this forum. This is my first post here and hopefully I'm following proper etiquette. I wouldn't want to start on the wrong foot. This forum was recommended from a fellow user on gunboards. I mainly collect IJN flags and 1000k stitch belts for many years. I just recently started my journey into military Japanese officers swords. I'm still a novice on the subject and seeking some information on this swordsmith. Thank you in advance for your help. Charlie
