    There was a mini concert outside the show this year. This was as close as it came to the rap battle. Fred W. did a great job putting on the show as usual. Got to see some amazing swords and tsuba. Picked up some very nice goodies and left with no money.

    A smart man once said spend your first $1000 on books and look at as many swords as possible. Try to make it to a miltary show like Show of Shows or the Max. Swords show like Chicago, San Fran, or Tampa (please take beginners class before you handle any blades) Charlie

    I believe he was a Lt. General during the Nanking Massacre in the IJA. He was also hung for war crimes committed during the massacre. I don’t think his family would want that sword even if was legal to own in Japan. Regards Charlie

    Picked up this guy on a Army sword. It has no business being on that sword. All army mounts except the tsuba, which really didn’t fit right anyway. Anyhow wanted to see if the signature was right. Thanks Charlie S.
