  1. Maybe you mean an o-suriage, with a mei loss...and who told this rule?
  2. Sorry Jean, but why you say don't buy any suriage blade starting muromachi???
  3. On the auction of ebay, wich Sukekane is? Not bizen osafune yokoyama sukekane...
  4. If i post something to sell that is genuine, with no problems or surprise and with a right price, i'm not worried about negative comments because how can somebody leave a negative comment without any reason?
  5. Very strange hamon and boshi
  6. I think the blade was shortened very much. Ken how the sugata can tell something with a very shortened blade?
  7. Oh probably i've seen some that are not...i'm watching pics from my phone, good for you Marco if the sword is healthy. We waiting for better pics.
  8. Hi Marco, yes the sword is tired and probably reshaped...can you make some better pics?
  9. Paul is right, if this blade has something important and special for you, you can decide to take and don't watch this flaw, remember that its value is low and probably if one day you will try to sell, you may have some problems. Another thing is that on a blade in this current stage you can't study or admire nothing, this blade need a polishing service and maybe can cost more of the blade.
  10. Nice blade, but the flaw is bad and too close to the hamon...this is my opinion, wait for other opinion and ask to a togishi.
  11. You might add some pics to judge the flaw. If it is a fukure an expert togishi probably can repair or reduce it. Not a fatal flaw but the price of the blade may be reduced.
  12. Congratulations!
  13. Thanks for the info...yes is out of polish...is not for me but for a friend. And i'm very doubtful too, but before to tell him a response i want to be quiet sure.
  14. Sorru but blade is not mine and no more detailed pics. What do you mean with showato Brian? Quenched in oil machine blade?
  15. Question about this blade. This is a traditionally made gendaito or a machine made sword?
  16. Ok no problem Jean sorry if i become angry very fast but i hate amatuer polishing too. I will never ever do something that can destroy a piece of art and hostory. And i know that is near to impossible to have a decent koto tanto for 1000$ i can reach maybe 1500$...because i'm saving for a sukekane tanto, i like shinshinto blade. But i'm trying to have some sword of different period to study. If there is something outside maybe can arrive to me. Dream don't cost anything
  17. Yes my wish is quiet impossible...sorry if my post hurt someone...please admin erase.
  18. I understand but i'm not that kind of people and i don't like if anyone told that i'm this kind of person. I study and buy books and love nihonto.
  19. Sorry but i'm not a stupid.
  20. http://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/topic/17089-question-on-a-mumei-wakizashi/page-2?do=findComment&comment=176851 This is the link of his work on one of my sword. Anything else to say?
  21. Ahahah i don't like the know-all...i'mnot going to polish by myself but a friend of mine. It's a italian professional togishi...in Italy we have a couple. Sorry if in your country you don't have. And before judging anything you must know this. On the forum there is a work of him that i posted.
  22. Anyway who tell i'm not going to polish the tanto when i find it?
  23. My budget is 1000$...if there is something i like it if not there is no problem.
  24. I understand what you told Joe. You are right. I like shinshinto blade and i spend any money to buy them. I want a koto tanto to have something to study ( i don't mind if it is out of polish or have a little pit on it) and i don't really want to move on. I know my wish is hard to do but i'm trying. Thanks
  25. Oh i see it, very nice but is too expensive for me. Sorry.
