  3. I really don't know. It looks identical to a picture of one on the net. what is your opinion of what it is? I'm pretty used to being way off base in my asumptions. lol thanks dale
  4. Gentlemen Please look at my pictures and tell me what it is. Of course I hope it's a hand cannon. I believe it's a rough casting, even the two side holes appear to be cast at the same time. About 11 1/4" o/a and the bore is about 7/8" The string is a modern shoestring but it came that way. thanks

  11. Here are a couple pitiful pics of the hamon. I thought toshi possibly but it didn't match the mei in Slough's book and that' the only one i have. thanks for your time and knowledge gentlemen
  12. Hi All I'd really appreciate any help with this mei. I'm guessing Kane something and tachi mei. There is a arsenal tamp on the nakago and a couple on the mune. Too much chemo and my brain just doesn't work like it used to. I'll try to post a pic of the hamon, I think I see some grain (wishful thinking). thanks dale
