Hi All. So I liked this tsuba and bought it in my collection. What is your opinion about the school? All I know is that this refers to the late Edo period. Design has elements of "sukashi". Length - 75.1mm Width - 73.5mm Edge - 4.8mm Weight – 100,83 gm. Made of iron, openwork, gold inlay.

    Tsuba "DRAGON"

Thank you, Brian. The whole tsuba is made of a "Shakudō" material, including rim. Dragon is performed very minutely and impressively. You're right, the seller specified the period of production as a late Edo 1800-1849. But the manufacturer (school) of this tsuba is unknown for him, unfortunately.
  6. Thanks for your help.
