  11. Well I decided to move forward with the sale. I am going to try to just enjoy the piece and stop obsessing over an opinion...odds are the papers are good considering it's an unsigned piece. Since I dont have access to anyone who could evaluate the fittings in person there is no way to determine if the papers were compromised so I will just enjoy the art.

  16. Thanks he was able to get back to me and stated the Shinsa date was May 5 1973 and stated the papers are Hozon which I guess he gave the equivalent to Kanteisho

  24. Hello Has anyone heard of this smith? Tsuba pictured below, any opinions regarding its authenticity? Seller states he is well known but I cannot find any info other then Edo period as stated by seller Thanks Steven
