    Yes, the nakago is signed and the saya has sayagaki (?). Allegedly by M. Kiyomitsu ca. 1558. I do have digital camera and shall endevor to learn how to put all this technology together. Thank you. -------------Todd M.

    Sir; I would clean the oil from blade (try rubbing alcohol, be sure the mei isn't affected first), then use spray urethane- couple of coats. I prefer the "satin" finish. _____________ Todd
