Very nice tsuba , thanks for sharing Jesper. I put the Dai-sho pair from my collection , signed: 武州住 伊藤正乗 Bushu Ju Ito Seijo , He was 8th master Bushu Ito school - Hachidai Seijo ,worked in Bunsei and Tenpo Era (1818-1844) , Tokubetsu Hozon paper. H08063.0

Thank you David , I thought about Umetada school . I must explain that the tsuba had Tokubetsu Hozon certificate that was lost during shipping. I wonder what features that the tsuba had received a good paper - artist name , school ,age , design or outstanding work ?

Iron goishi gata round plate with shakudo rim cover. Dimensions 75 mm x 75 mm , thickness nakago-ana : 5 mm , rim: 3 mm. Tsuba with deers under maples design. Mei - I'm not sure - Banshu Ju Yoshishige ??? What school and age? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Many thanks KMorita Attribution - 5.右金山 地透後期作也 - the right item is Kanayama sukashi 後期作 late work ? , which means kanji character 也 ? -
This hakogaki was done by Dr. Torigoye in the description of an preEdo period tsuba and signed Saro + "bird" shape kao. I am having trouble translating especially 2,3 and 5 columns. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. 1. 鉄地 tetsu-ji , 鐔 無銘 – Tsuba, Mumei Iron tsuba , unsigned 2. 隅角形 sumi? Kaku gata - owal square shape next ??? 3. 4. 竪 tate(lenght) 2? sun 3? bu 5? rin 5. 6. A lucky day in February ? of Showa 43 ? year 7. Saro 在耶 + Kao "bird" shape - Pre-edo 2nd Class tsuba

First is signed : Tosa Kuni Ju Myochin Ki Toshio - Tosa Myochin school Toshio 利雄 H10535.0 The second is signed : Nisshu Ju Nobuyoshi , Myochin Nobuyoshi 日州住 信吉 probably H07267 or later. -

Yes , it can be easy to confuse Akasaka and Tosa Myochin or Myochin. If an unsigned piece. These two pieces look like Akasaka , but they are not...these are signed. -

Hi all ! Can anybody help me to find out about school, design and approximate age of this Tsuba? The surface and patina actually looks poor , dark raid and rust.
