  1. Wow thank you Ian.. I have been trying to find the kamon. no luck yet. My question is, is this a rare set of armour is it worth restoring and who would do this type of work? sorry for all the questions. I just find this so fascinating... Dan
  2. Thank you all... I do have the kegs and arms it seems to be made the same as everything else it has these hexagonal little leather buttons sewn inside the material. I'm adding one more picture with all the parts and Box. Again thank you Medina San

  4. This Armour is in pretty bad shape any help would be greatly appreciated. I saw it and just had to have. Can you help me Identify it. would it be worth restoring it, or should it be a study piece?
  5. The Shinza was held at the University of New Mexico in 1983. I have been reading up on how to take photos of Swords. Once I get the hang of it I will post some better pictures.
  6. The sword was made by Kanenobu who was also a skillful engraver. The sword is not signed but was submitted to Shinza and was appraised by Fukunaga Suiken, Shibata Mitsuo and John M Yumto to Kanenobu. Dated Showa.
  7. Thank you, but it already has a mate next to it, it just does not have the little splash of gold. again I'm a newbie when it comes to tsuba. I only got these because it was part of the package. any help in ID would be appreciated.

  12. Not for sale.. I was just lucky enough to be able to add this sword to my growing collection. I was able to translate some of the info on the NBTHK Paper. I believe the name is Yasuyoshi but am a little stumped as to which one I think from awa?? Thank you for any assistance you can provide,and wow is this a awesome looking blade.
