    Sword maintance kit

Sorry about that I was not aware that any question or discussion was off limits. I pray that one day I will be able to afford an original. I think some of them are works of art in themselves. They deserve a special place in history. How many of us will leave something as beautiful and significant 100's of years after we are dead?
  2. I just bought a Bugei Wave off of Ebay and I need to either get the cleaning kit or at least a good Uchiko and Choji oil and the Washi paper. Can you guys recommend a good source the proper maintance material?
  3. Hi Guys Can you please give me your opinions on this blade? http://cgi.ebay.com/K-Japanese-KATANA-S ... dZViewItem
  4. Thats the most enjoyable 40 minutes or so I have spent in a while. Thanks for shairing.
  5. Thanks Guys you saved me a bundle and I do appreciate it.
  6. I would really love to own a sword with historical significance but the amount of fakes and the costs of the premium blades are totally out of my reach. I had though about a Bugei Daisho then I found this; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1 The seller is in Australia but he claims his grandfather is in Kyoto province Japan and is the blade smith. His feedback appears good. What do you guys think of having a Daisho made by his family?
