  1. Thank you Jpelkazooka for you assessment on my tsuba. Can you please develop elements which make you see and think that this tsuba is "false"? Coming to "the worst ever seen" aspect, I cannot discuss it as everybody's taste is respectfull. More seriously, can someone give me information on the YUKIYAMA schools as Mauro has opened a door I am ready to go through.....?

  5. Hi all, This iron tsuba of 75 mm wide represents a kingfisher above waterplants plants in suaka and shakudo. Even if on the shakudo leaf i can detect 3 dewdrops (I recently learned thanks to this forum, that they were a kantei mark for Goto school), I don't think this tsuba is from Goto school. But in that case what kind of school it is ? Thank you for you comments and advises Bruno

Don't invest too much in this as the Hakogaki is just confirming what we see: An iron rounded corner shape Aizu Tsuba without signature and with gilted inclusions ....   18. Hi Steve, Please find herewith more pictures. It is not perfect but I did my best. i see in the SHOSANKENSHU from H. JOLY that KageNori might be from the ToshiKage school..... He is referenced in Haynes' index as H2354.0 Thank you again for your help

  23. Thank you Ford fo your explanations. In fact with a close look of the body it seems that it is gilded. I purchased this Tsuba $ 100, 10 years ago at a Gallery with name "Circle in the Moon Antiques" in Cherry Hill - New Jersey in the US and they described this Tsuba as been Myochin..... I do not know if this business is still existing..... Thank you again
  24. HI, I need some help on this Tsuba Size is 7,8cm - Shape is round - Metal is iron with shakudo and sentoku inclusion. My guess is that it is a nara school tsuba but not vey sure on my opinion. Can you confirm? Topic might be Oshioko back on his ox. But in my case, he is not playing a flute.... Would it be another story? Thank you for your help Bruno
