Hi Guys, here is the second portion or the sale attributed to Tsuba's. I'll update the dimensions shortly. As I am not an expert in Tosogu they may be even better deals than I am aware of. If you have questions please don't hesitate to reach out, I have a few more pictures on hand if need be, I didn't want to overload the listing. All come in boxes, some with pillow and some missing the pillow. We all know eachother quite well here and to avoid fees I suggest sending payment as "friends" via paypal. Please add shipping and paypal fees if the apply, all prices in USD 1) Katana Sukashi iron tsuba. 8.35 x 8.3 cm (I believe early Edo, very very dark and rich patina) $485 USD 2) Wakizashi Snake tsuba 6.7 x 6.2 cm (age unknown, late Edo, maybe Meiji, slight damage on corner) $475 USD 3) Katana Bamboo/ flowers 8.5cm x 8.5cm (Edo period, nice and dark patina with small amounts of inlay) $425 USD 4) Katana Shoami Tsuba Moth Theme with new NBTHK papers 8.1 x 8.1 cm (very even patina with nice texture) $650 USD 5) Very Fine Wakizashi Tsuba both signed and papered by NBTHK 7.2 x 7.0 cm( Dark even patina with thick gold mimi and very thin flowers) $670 6) Katana Iron diamond shape with leaves 8.55 x 7.8 cm ( nice dimensions and finely inlayed leaves) $300 7) Katana Heianjo Tsuba very heavy 8.75cm x 8.75 cm ( largely and skillfully inlayed swirls) $475 Numbers 1 & 2

Hi Gents, this is a sequel to my "emptying out the closet" listing a while back, a lot of people picked up some nice pieces for very reasonable prices. This is the first part, if you like what you see shoot me an email. A Daisho set with all old fittings including the Saya's which the urushi holds up well. The ships found on the Tsuba's protrude a lot, more than the pictures make it seem. Fuchi/kashira all shakudo. The set originally had no seppa's, I added some just for protection but would suggest getting matching seppa's. Price is $1,700 US plus shipping. Both come with very old matching sword bags. The other item is a Menuki set that is quite unique, I say this because I've never seen this motif before. I love them but I'm sure they will get more appreciation from one of you. `They are weasels/ferrets, fine predators, excellently made and with some nice fine detail, take the ears for example. They are so small, needed my marco lens. Comes with a custom box. I highly recommend this set. Priced at $565 US plus shipping, non-negotiable.

Hi Friends, I've been fortunate to handle a beautiful piece of history even thought it was for a very very short time, it was a tease more than anything. A client of mine was on the hunt for this big name and so with a bit of luck and timing on our side I was able to satisfy his appetite. Norishige who was one of the big Juttetsu and having played such a big role in Soshu-den History I felt that it was unfair for this piece like this to disappear into the dark corner of a private collector and possibly remain unseen for the next couple of decades. A piece like this deserves to be looked at and appreciated, especially for those of us who will never own or touch such an item. And so with the permission of the owner I would like to offer some pictures and leave an open discussion for those who would like to study and comment on this piece, share some knowledge preferably in a constructive way where others can benefit. Attaching other pictures for form of comparison/ study are permitted so I leave this in your hands from this point on. I won't be participating in this discussion as my workload is backlogged. I ask members to keep in mind that the owner may have a peek at this so please don't be too harsh if you have something negative to say. I will ask this thread to be deleted in the future out of respect for the owners wishes so you are welcome to save everything. The nagasa is just over 73cm with a Kinpun Mei most likely done during Edo period. It does have recent Juyo papers for those who are doubtful of its authenticity. Enjoy and thanks to everyone who took a peek!

I'll see if I can find something worthy to donate, worse case scenario it will be in the form of $$$, or even possibly both an item and a bit of dough. -

Thank you Christian and Henk for taking the time to post. Sounds like some scary business for sure, I was asked to quote shipping costs on an item but I guess insurance could be a must. Does anyone know anyone from there or that had experience sending, I don't even know if it's a prohibited item. Thanks again guys!!!!!
