  3. I don't think that the passing of his father and business partner 10 months ago would stop him from answering emails. Or returning phone calls. If you are confident of his honesty give him a call. What details have I not disclosed
  4. Japanese sword LTD. Had a sword of mine that they were selling on consignment, Now they closed and wont return the sword or respond to my attempts to contact them. No Honor at all Kanesada wak. Given to Ben Kreiser, to sell for 2700 dollars in may of 2012, when mr. Kreiser passsed away , his son said he would return the sword, that was jan. 2013, from that time I have sent over 20 emails and 5 phone calls, All have been ignored. I guess the son hase not inherited his fathers honesty.

I received a E-mail from Fred Lohman, it seems my sword was stolen along with several others by a polisher, Fred says he will replace my sword with another of equal quality using my fittings, I promised I would be patient. as this sword was koshi-zori and may be a Little hard to replace(showa ). I hope this will work out. only time will tell. BUT he seems willing. I would like to change this topic from fraud to CONFUSION :?

  7. I sent a sword to fred lohman 2 YEARS ago, he has been putting me off saying it`s not finished - finely he admitted that he lost the sword!!!. Now he won`t return my e- mails. force into filling a complaint with the US. postal inspectors. This is a real nightmare, I thought this guy was honest.... BUT HE Sure HAS NOT WITH ME. Beware if your thinking of sending a sword to this guy

  13. I did not think war swords could be owned in Japan? on e-bay a seller in Japan claims to have this sword for sale. could this be right?- item #200107178771,
  14. the good repos coming out of china, are made for martial arts or for people who want a good looking sword cheap, the Paul chen seem to be the best of these. hand made and I think better qual. than most of the Japanese swords made in ww2. ( but with no history ) folded steel water temperd. nice for the price, and not made to fool aneyone

    this I think is, seki- taisho era , 1912-1926 , it looks to be hand forged and watter temperd, but someone with a buffer "cleaned it up" the third kanji I could`t get
  23. that looks like a W stamp seen on a lot of war time swords both good and bad
