Sorry gents... the writing all looks the same to me! As you can tell I'm not very knowledgable in this area. Good to hear from you Brian. Believe it or not but I've still been buying shin-guntos, not like the old days but still reasonably active. Maybe it's time I started learning to read the kanji though!!! Getting seriously involved in Japanese armour at the moment, and bought this sword as I thought it would look good displayed with one of the suits. Will keep an eye out for you on Saturday.
