  3. Thanks for your answers. I collect (like) Japanese things I have some bronzes, Woodblock prints a couple of tansu, some Buddha's, tsuba's, porcelain and a couple of swords. I have not much knowledge about nihonto. By the way this one is signed is it possible to narrow the search which Tadamitsu this could be. I know it's difficult without a visible hamon or boshi. Ger Hoogewey The Netherlands / The Hague I stumbled Yesterday over this wakizashi together with a katana The wakizashi is in bad shape I can not see hamon or a boshi Though it looks like I can see some kind of hamon line but this could be made with a buffin machine some ugly pitting / dents on the cutting edge A friend of mine translated this as: Bitchu Tadamitsu most Tadamitsu sign with osafune this one not Can somebody tell me if we are right with the translation Is this wakizashi worth fixing up ?????   6. From: Ger Hoogewey Netherland The Hague Can somebody translate the text on the Sake barrel an give me an idea how old this is The sake barrel has a diameter of 46 cm, the ears are 103 cm high and the middle beam is aprox 90 cm. Thanks in Advance Ger Hoogewey

From Ger Hoogewey The Hague Netherlands I have bought a Japanese vase in a wooden box I have made a scan of the lid from the wooden box Maybe there is somebody who can explain or translate the writing. I had no time to make some pictures of the vase It's a cylinder vase with a trumpet shape top. it has 2 rings and the color is mainly white with a blood red accent. Thanks in advance
