  16. Hi guys , Friends bought this sword interstate from some chap supposedly on his death bed , i saw it and said it was a copy but another fellow saw it and said it was possibly a java made sword during the war for the occupying and collaborating axis forces ?but blades faux damascus , the numbers look modern and the leather and stitching look cheap and though aged look more like theyve been achieved by leaving in the elements or burying in yard for a few weeks hope im wrong for his sake cheers in advance

  19. Morning Gentlemen , Still waiting on Wallis and Wallis response , there notoriously slow in answering ( if at all ) even though their part of the sothersby Auction group think there still to realise the power of the internet and the buyers they miss out on by not loading comprehensive photos . Possibliy if others contact them theyll get a wriggle on and load better photos !! The blade does look too wide but im trying to fine a photo of a early Japanese parade blade i sold that had a double fullered blade like this one appears to carry . Im waiting with baited breath for Auctions response and hopefully better photos and will upload as soon as I receive but please feel free to bombard them with your own requests and put the pressure on !

  22. Ive flicked them a query on if it is double fullered and if the blades numbered , have seen a copied blade double fuller but then again have seen a double fullered nco ( though ine owned some of the early parade swords that have been multi dullered) , ill post any replies but wallis and wallis are notoriously slow (if at all) on relies .
