:lol: sounds confusing to me.. but yes there is a seki stamp, there are also black painted characters on the other side, i will try and up load them tomorrow.. the only other markings on the sword are the numbers stamped on the tsuba and spacers that i can see. Harry.L.W

Hi David well i have 2, ww2 era swords that need to be re polished and cleaned and the wrapping on one of the handles needs to be re wound. Doesnt seam to be to big of a job i just dont want to demage these myself as i dont know enough to do this work confidently. But it might be harder than it looks? Thanks for the link. Ok cool, thanks David... im going to try and use chalk or white out over the signiture as its not very clear... i was told info from my family as it was bought.. but there is more detail info i did not get with this.. i will be getting it cleaned and polished after Christamas. thanks for your reply Harry.L.W

Translation of ww2 navy Katana from seki arsonal.. kojima yoshimusa saku? tsuba and related parts are marked with the number 2.. there is also black painted markings on the other side... This sword was bought in the U.S.A, im trying to add photoes to this ling / post, can anyone help? i have seen an older post showing a sword made by kojima yoshimusa saku.. the markings on my sword seam to match up as if they were twins.. the hamon on this sword is wavy but needs a proffesional polish. (trying to add photo) i had to add previous photoes.. Harry.L.W
