  1. I believe that the term 三省 comes form the Analects and it should read Sansei based on its meaning. (三省 also read Sansho, but it means other thing - Three major ministries in Chine.) As for the second one, the characters on the right are 奥仙田勝之庄. The last character is not 住. I am not sure about their reading, but could be "Okusenda Katsu-no-sho".
  2. The first one: 文政十一年埋忠 – Bunsei 11th year (1828), Umetada 三省子就栄作之 – Sanseishi Narishige made this.
  3. 野村友喜 – Nomura Yuki (Uki, according to Wakayama)
  4. There is a consideration on the motif by Ito Sanpei. Ref. 無銘金山鐔「山道文透かし」鐔 He suggests that the motif is 山道文 – Mountain road pattern

Just above the logo of Takashimaya, there is a description about another exhibition. 第2回平櫛田中賞受賞記念 堀川恭彫刻展 – Exhibition of Horikawa Yasushi’s sculpture in commemoration of his winning of the 2nd Hirakushi Denchu Award Horikawa Yasushi won the 2nd Hirakushi Denchu Award in 1973.   13. As it is said that the blade is a Java sword. The characters look a little strange. They were not inscribed by native Japanese.   14. The reading of the mei is wrong. After 備前國住長舩 (Bizen no kuni ju Osafune), the chiseled name is 源兵衛祐定 - Genbe'e Sukesada. And if the mei is genuin, chiseled name should be 源兵衛尉祐定 - Genbe'e no jo Sukesada.
